Dear Myra Santos, 

From 2009-present day we have grown a relationship that I would have never guessed would have happened. It’s only been three years and yet you’ve become my best friend, my sister, and one of the only people I can confide in with all my troubles and secrets. I am beyond grateful to have a person like you in my life. You are kind hearted, gentle, understanding, adventurous, and a great GREAT friend. I am so happy that you are my roommate and that I can just walk 2 feet and you’re right there. From our wild adventures to our crazy moments we have in our apartment, I don’t think I would have had a great college experience if you weren’t in my life. I know that a lot of the time I can get on your nerves with my nonsense, but thank you so much for dealing with me through all that. 

So, in all, I wanted to wish you a Happy 21st birthday. We can go out together and get wasted! I’m just kidding…but seriously, we can finally go to bars and drink margaritas … :)

I love you Myra Santos, you’re my roommate and my best friend. But more importantly, you’re the sister I never had. I love you and I’m always here for you no matter what.
